5 Pointz

It's ironic. I spontaneously went to visit 5 Pointz one April afternoon. I've constantly wondered where it was located, the infamous "graffiti mecca," only viewed through the windows of the 7 train. It was a landmark for many on their morning and evening commute; for tourists, it was somewhere down the list after Statue of Liberty and 9/11 Memorial; artists of all different interest only dreamed of using this magnificent background as part of their work. 

When I heard it was whitewashed overnight, I was relieved; I say relieved because although I may not have really know about 5 Pointz, I was lucky enough that random Spring day to have seen such a great deal of effort and talent in the works of international artists all over this warehouse.
